Chinook Region
One Act Drama Festival
April 30 and May 1, 2010
Sterndale Bennett Theatre, Lethbridge

Playgoers encourages those interested in competing and presenting a play to check the Alberta Drama Festival Association website www.adfa.ca for the guidelines and registration.

Contact Rita the Chinook Region coordinator for more information.(info@playgoers.ca)

A play will be selected to represent the Chinook Region during the Provincial One-Act Drama Festival in Whitecourt May 14 to 15, 2010. (Financial assistance is available for travelling, if your production is selected)

Playgoers has a script library available to all members. Playgoers may also sponsor a submission into the Festival. More information is available (info@playgoers.ca)

The One Act Drama Festival is a great opportunity for playwrites, directors, and actors showcase your craft, receive constructive feedback, and grow your experience.

Attention DIRECTORS
If you are interested in directing a play for Playgoers' Dinner Theatre production (October) or for the Spring Production (February), we would like to hear from you.

Prospective directors should have some experience with a play for a Playgoers function (a one-act festival, dinner theatre, or full production). New members of Playgoers should include details of previous experience.
If you have a script (or 2), please submit them to our Artistic Director, Ed Bayly (info@playgoers.ca ). Please outline cast, crew, and stage/set needs.

A good way to demonstrate your directing skills is to participate in the One Act Drama Festival each spring.
